Sibelius Training: One Day On-Line Course
This one day, interactive on-line course will help learn how to easily enter, edit and publish your music with Sibelius. You will be able to see, hear and interact with the instructor, while seeing their screen. You will follow along on your own computer, and can ask questions along the way - just like a real class! The instructor will be able to see your screen, and even demonstrate concepts on your computer if necessary.
Course covers:
- Getting to know Sibelius: working with files, playback and navigation
- Your first score: setting up the score, entering notes, text, and
printing
- Your second score: flexi-time recording, transposing, arranging,
advanced editing and markings
- Your third score: Voices, tuplets, and more text!
- Final project
- Beyond the basics: scanning, customization, on-line publishing and more.
Although the instructor will be using Sibelius 6, Sibelius 4 and 5 users will also be able to participate.
Fee: $100 USD.
Schedule: The course will run on Saturday, September 18th and December 4th, 2010, starting at 11:00 am CST and ending at 6:00 pm CST including breaks.
Start Date: September 18, 2010 and December 4, 2010
Materials: No special software is required - as long as you have Sibelius and a high speed internet connection!
