Using Technology in Music Education On-Line Course

Course Goals:
This course is designed to teach technology learning skills that will allow you to master current and upcoming technologies to effectively and appropriately use technology in teaching music.

Course Objectives:
By exploring current technology, you will develop learning skills to help you master future technology. Understanding how computers work (including operating systems, applications, hardware, the Internet) is an important foundation for understanding current and future trends in music and education technology.

Through research, demonstration and practice, you will understand how to effectively use of technology in your teaching to achieve the benefits of technology while avoiding potential problems.

You will develop criteria for selecting software and hardware for use in your class to appropriately use technology in teaching music.

Fee: $200 USD.
